At SUVA we have nicknamed these burs "Zoidberg Brushes". These diamond rubber bristle mini-brushes can be used in your Foredom or Dremel rotary tool to polish small domes and curves on metals. Bur life is significantly shortened when used on stones or fire agates.
Specifications
Small diamond rubber bristle head measuring approximately 5mm x 5mm, permanently mounted to a shorter-than-typical shank that needs to be securely installed before use in Dremel, Foredom, and other quick-change and standard rotary handpieces. Shanks measure close to 3/32 in (2.32 mm) and are slightly longer than 16 mm. Recommended speed range of 1500-3000 rpm during use with light pressure, recommended for use on metals.
Available in a range of diamond grits designed to be used in a sequence:
- Medium grit (blue)
- Fine grit (red)
